The Safari Collection is a collection high End Safari Lodges and Tents owned by Tanya and Mikey Carr-Hartley who are 4th generations Settlers. Currently the collection has five Lodges namely Siruai,Sala’s,Saasab,Solio and their Crown jewel Giraffe Manor.

The Collection is spread throughout Kenya iconic National Conservancies and private Ranches, the Giraffe Manor and The Retreat are in Nairobi, Solio Lodge in Laikipia, Sasaab in Samburu, and Sala’s Camp in the Masai Mara.

Siruai Mobile Camp

With an Average review score of 4.6 out of 5, Siruai is a hard core Safari enthusiast mobile camp which doesn’t come with luxurious add-ons like swimming pools, message parlors or fancy amenities that other top end lodges come with. Its a seasonal Camp only opening between Mid December to mid January and back from April to Mid October. The reason for closure of the camp is to give the Environment enough time to regenerate and breathe. As you can already note the camp is environment friendly with only bare necessities.

The camp sits on 43,000acre Siyuian private Ranch which belongs to the Powy’s family who are also multi generational Settlers from European Descent. The Ranch is situated in North West Laikipia, perched on a rocky ridgeline, overlooking the Ewaso Narok river valley and the Laikipia Plateau.

Sala’s scored an average score of 4.6 out out of 5.Its located in the Masai Mara in Kenya. The Camp provides you with true and authentic Safari Experience with amazing amenities at the lodge but still understated to blend in with the reserve. The tents are glass fronted and have private glass pools to see the vast Masai Mara.

Being in the Masai mara you get to witness The wildebeest migration first hand plus you get to watch the Big five .

The game drives are done by expert Masai guides who are capable of preparing Bush Breakfast. Bird Watching, Star gazing and Nature walks are all part of the Experience.

Trip Advisor 2021 Traveler Choice Winner With an Average review score of 4.6 out of 5,is a luxury Tent in the Heart of Samburu. The Hotel gives you a breath taking view of the the Laikipia  Plateau with the lodge Perched on top of a river which gives you the chance to view a herds of elephants coming to drink water plus a host of other wildlife.

Sasaab – Samburu – Kenya

You can be able see the  jagged peaks of Mount Kenya Through the Laikipia Plateau and the the Sundowners are spectacular. Similar to other Lodges you can go for game with Expert Samburu guides. The Samburu Conservancy has its own big five consisting of the the Beisa oryx, reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, Gerenuk antelope and Somali ostrich. Occasionally you can encounter Samburu herdsmen with their livestock grazing in the Conservancy.

Solio scored an average score of 4.5 out out of 5 and a winner of numerous Trip advisor winner Choice. Tucked in the valley between the slopes of the Aberdares and Mt.Kenya in Nyeri County. The camps sit on the 17,500 acres Private Ranch of the initial Owner Courtland Parfet with part of the ranch belonging to the Kenya Government.

Long Horn Rhino Solio Ranch

Solio Reserve is home to over 200 Black and white Rhinos among a host of other wildlife including the Lion. The proximity of the Lodge to Nairobi ,Kenya’s Capital city is big plus, its 196 km or a three and half hour drive from Nairobi . Its also a 30 minute drive to Kenya’s Underrated but equally beautiful Aberdares National Park. As with all other Lodges Game drives ,nature walk/Biking is part of the Experience. The sundowner with Mt.Kenya in the Background is amazing.

Solio lodge

Chopper Rides for the Guest is available, with the guest getting an aerial view of Mt.Kenya and the equally stunning Laikipia Plataea .
